Glossary definitions provided in part by the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.

Fund Expenses: The amount the fund charges to operate the fund such as legal, accounting, printing and other expenses.

Fund Family: A group of funds that are marketed under one or more brand names, usually with the same company which handles selling and redeeming shares of the fund in transactions with investors and investment advisor.

Fund Manager: Refers to a financial institution selected to provide services in connection with investment plans.

Funds: Mutual funds in which the Portfolio assets may be invested from time to time and which are managed by the Manager's affiliates or other entities not affiliated with the Manager. The Manager recommends to CollegeInvest for its approval the particular Funds, if any, in accordance with the Policy Statement.
