Stress and the big stuff
Take a few minutes to see how you compare to people who have suffered a stress-related illness.  On this modification of the Life Crisis Scale, developed by Holmes and Rahe, click on the life events you’ve experienced in the past two years.  Your scores will be tallied and appear as the sum of your Life Crisis Units (LCU’s) at the bottom of the page.  You can estimate your chance of experiencing stress or a stress-related illness by comparing your LCU total to those in the table below.
