Income - Heart Matters

print

Summary

After studying income, this unit revisited the beliefs that might be affecting the way you create a balance between your income and your expenses. To understand this better, you learned about the 11 irrational core beliefs developed by Dr. Ellis in The Essence of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. The idea is that, once you have studied all the beliefs and you consciously apply them to real life situations, you will realize that they are the main cause of your negative reactions and emotions. When the irrational beliefs become dominant, you begin to make the “preferences” into “musts” leading to negative emotions. Confront and change your irrational beliefs by using the disputing process and you will be able to balance your financial life better.
